After some exploration just now, I discoverd the Windows font folder on
my home machine (win 98)...

obviously I dont know much about fonts... ha ha....

I am assuming that the same font files are used for printers and also for
display on the crt.

And, I am assuming that simply copying a font file to such a folder would
make it accessible to applications.

It would make more sense to have one folder in Windows as a repository for all
fonts for all applications , to printers and to crt (but then, things
are not necessarily always done in the most sensible way).
