Have any of you seen this error message when trying to check-in/out a SourceSafe controlled vcx? It happens if you have instantiated an object based on the vcx and then try to check it in or out.

Issuing a 'clear all' clears something so that you can then check it in/out, but I can't figure out what it clears. I've tried "clear class xxx", "clear classlib xxx", "set library to" but nothing seems to work except "clear all".

I want to know because I'm trying to put code in the 'querymodifyfile' event to make this stop happening. But of course, if I issue 'clear all' in there, the projecthook object tries to clear itself, which blows an error.

Any thoughts on how to make this go away?
