Jim do you use a SELECT or a VIEW (CREATE SQL VIEW AS SELECT) REQUERY will only work on views as for making it parameterized use the syntax Gene offered you would probably want to specift NoDataOnLoad=.t. for the VIEW in the Dataenvironment as well Arnon >I put the SELECT in the RECORD SOURCE and set the RECORD SOURCE TYPE to 4 - >SQL. I then added code in the InteractiveChange even of the drop-down. >Requiry doesn't work at all, it gives me an error. Refresh doesn't change >anything either, but I don't get any errors. > >Any other suggestions? I made sure the proper column was BOUND in the >drop-down by setting the CAPTION of the form to the value. If I hardcode a >value in my SQL statement, the proper data comes in just fine. I must be >doing something wrong. > >Also, I want to be able to UPDATE any tables that I joined using the SQL, >is that possible? > >Thanks, > >
