It could very well have been discussed there by non-MS people. But this
gentleman never saw those messages, even though he posted requests for
help out there in those newsgroups. He didn't even know it was an ODBC
problem, so of course he wasn't looking for an ODBC solution.
MS just has to do better in helping promote their products.
