Ahhh yes and so they do! Bob Tracy over on FoxForum solved this for me. It requires a registry setting, Visual Modeler doesnt have a way to set a default property file thru it's IDE, but you can point HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\VISUAL MODELER\ADDINS\VISUALSTUDIO\PROPERTYFILE to the MSVM.PTY (needs copied to same place as other 2 *.pty files) and you can see on the log when you fire up Modeler it updates model properties from the one you specify!
