Victor, which framework are you using? And what happens if you temporarily add NODEFAULT to the InterActiveChange(), Valid() and other similar events on the combo to remove the Framework code (or try to replicate the problem with a base class combo)
And since it's a cursor, what happens if you call the combo.Requery(), perhaps on GotFocus()? Does that give you the C0000005 error?
For debugging without the debugger, possible a button that pops up a browse? Or can you go to the Data Session poup in the Windows menu and look at the data in the cursor?
