You seem like work on the same task with me!!!!:)
You can have a Top level form, maximized, and SetWindowPos with Top_Most (pls check out the parameters). The form will override the desktop, if user enter right password, the form will be released. However, there are many issues that should be considered in order to success it... would like to share any ideas!!!!
