Here's a quick partial cure:
Create a new table with memo fields of the same name, and same # records. Then rename the FPT for this table to the original corrupt FPT. You should now be able to open the old table okay, but you will have lost the memo data...the other fields should be okay, at least.
Other than that, you can try something like Foxfix or another file repair tool...
