1. Why do CDX disappear? Someone is doing that?
2. Creating a filter NOT DELETED() to your primary indexs works OK, but you probabilly will have problems in the future. The best thing to do is create an incremental field which is used only to create your relationship (it's like a Stamp). You may ask how do you do it on VFP (since we don't have incremental field), right? Check out Craig's home page (i don't have in mind the address, but click on any message Craig Berntson is answering, and click on his signature) and search for primary keys. He has a great explanation for that.
