I disagree. I did a test of a project with 127 files and simply assigned loFile.Name to a variable. It took around 3 seconds. Now, compare that to opening a PJX file and doing the same thing in a SCAN. The time is essentially 0.000 seconds. It gets worse when you access more than one property of the file object; the time goes up by a second or so for each property accessed.

I'm not sure how to say this without being obvious, but I understand we won't have to worry about this issue forever. <g>
