I did offer to post the opening here and other Foxpro-oriented newsgroups but politely got "Thanks but we'll handle it." We have had many interviews but none so far for hiring. It's always a balancing act: those that qualify/over-qualify want huge compensation and others under-qualified. I'm not directly involved in the hiring but it's what I've been told.

>I haven't heard of Grizzard and haven't ever been contacted by a recruiter about your company. Not that I'm looking now, but I've changed jobs 3 times in the last several years trying to find a situation where I could learn. This sounds like the place you are at.

>I'm comfortable now, but last summer I was getting screwed over by my employer and had several recruiters looking for me. It may be possible that your not using the best recruiter.

>>Reality is, we're having problems finding developers skilled in both VFP and new technologies for our new projects. Our agency told us we would have a lot less problem finding people if we drop the Foxpro requirement. One person we interviewed was still doing most of her development in Foxpro for DOS while almost finished getting her MCSE!
It's "my" world. You're just living in it.
