Based on our organization's hierarchy.
GROUP MANAGER - manages various projects.
PROJECT MANAGER / PROJECT LEADER / TEAM LEADER (combined) - handles management and technical aspect of a specific project. If your company is big enough, you can split this into 2 or 3. But 3 is too much IMO.
MODULE LEADER - we don't have this but IMO, one that leads several programmers doing specific module of a specific project.
SR PROGRAMMER - experienced programmer which is one step higher than position below.
PROGRAMMER - newbie programmer or newly hired programmer.
TECHNICAL WRITER / DOCUMENTATIONIST (combined) - this term is in a general form IMO, others may argue. We have 'IT technical writer' - one who is knowledgeable in writing technical aspects of an application. Some programmers are good in coding but weak when it comes to elaborating what they do in a correct term and format. This doesn't mean you should be good in programming but the person should knew everything about the apps. Again, this position can be splitted into two depending on the size of the company.
It seems you forgot Systems Analyst? Well, we for instance, SAD is being handled by PROJ. MANAGER.
