Kevin, I traced the code yesterday and discovered that the code was looking for the cLocalDBC, and I got the remote views to appear for creating the remote dataenvironment. My app still does not work, however, because it is unclear to me how to switch between the local and remote views. I know the documentation says to write to the windows registry to turn off the USE LOCAL DATA flag, but I have not done that before. If you could shed further light on how to accomplish this, I would greatly appreciate it.

In the meantime, I will continue to trace code to try to figure out what do.
