if i may add. i'm from main frame COBOL background and have been coding in VFP for less then a year. already i can tell you when it comes to data crushing and manipulating, Foxpro is very good. and best of all foxpro is, to me anyway, truely a relational database application builder of it's kind. i don't know of any other language that offers it's own native database and tables, unless you go to MS SQL Server or Oracle/SYBASE etc....
