Wrong. VC++ requires several libraries. VB, even when compiled to native code requires additional libraries. The days of one EXE and no additional libraries is gone. In the Fox 2.x days people screamed for a standalone EXE. They got that...it was HUGE because it had the runtime stuff compiled in. You aren't gonna get away from that. Also, with a native EXE you would lose the ability for macro expansion, which, IMO, is one of the best features of VFP.

I'm not really concerned about this. Things may be different where you are. All applications can be reverse engineered. Even hardware can be reverse engineered. It isn't always easy, but it can be done.
