Created an index on "company" (40C) field in "customer" table. When I Browse on table, only the pointer record shows. Then created index on "city" (24C) field and, when browsed, everything is in proper order. Am I missing something on field length in an index here? or did my VFP6 just get up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? Have previously done some real wacky field combos as indexes before and those work just fine.
