That's a bit of an exaggeration, but I come from that side of the fence, and VFP is definitely one of my front-line tools where it meets my needs well. There are things that VFP is unsuitable for, clearly, but on more than one occasion I've worked up a prototype of an app in VFP, and the client elected to have me carry the prototype in VFP forward rather than go back and implement the production application in theoriginal target language.
The best advertising for VFP is letting clients see what it can do.
