Try Rick Strahls wwipstuff which has mail stuff in it. It should be available from this site or from West-wind
I use it in our web page server engine (VFP of course) to send :
1) an immediate email to me on the first occurence of an error
2) a pager message on the 10 occurence (it's serious!)
I include the program tree, the error message and the line number. It amazes my friends when a debug message turns up while I'm partying!
