You said that versions of VFP before 6 had getfileversion in the foxtools library, but I can't find it in foxtools for vfp 3 (version 3.11).

I have a project in VFP 3 that has to stay in 3 for now. I want to get the version# of adobe acrobat from my exe and see if I need to tell my user to upgrade to a newer version if they don't have at least version 3.01. I have the cds for vfp 5 and vfp 6 - can I copy foxtools from those versions and use it in vfp 3 in win32s running win 3.11 and/or win 95/98/nt?

I've looked at several items in the files api section on universal thread, but cannot seem to find the right combination.
