You really should ask Rick this. He's been running W2K betas and release candidates for quite a long time. I know in NT4 days, he was a proponent of running Server on laptops. Don't know if his tune has changed.

Also, how much memory do you have? I've seen recommendations of 128 for Pro and 256 for Server.
