Relying on drive mapping where the user can, and does, alter it on a whim, is a serious problem. The best solution is to use UNC references, which specify the file's location based on the consistent address published to the network rather than a drivemapping which can be altered, andmay not be assigned consistently at all stations, so that the name remains the same regardless of other actions on the station.
