Now that many of us have passed the beta tests and going for full MCSD status (I know some are already MCSD), I'm wondering how it's going to benefit me in the near future.

First, I'm not disputing the fact that being a MCSD is not professionally beneficial. Having said this, I'm interested in hearing how "you" would use this. I see immediate benefits for independent consultants but what about corporate developers? I, for one, will not get more money for achieving this. Although I have no desire to change my job now, I don't see any openings looking for MCSD (unlike MCSE).

Besides having sense of accomplishment, what good do you see that I don't?
