Here's a further follow up...
I've downloaded eView -- never knew about it before. I believe it's about to be added to my tools arsenal<g>.
First off, eView did generate an updateable view. That's half the battle right there. I noticed that the "View" definitions were all done before the "Field" definitions. Is that done for simply readability or is there an order that DBSETPROP()s should be?
What I'm attempting to do is take a specific view from a views database and copy that view to the user's temporary scratch database. I'll try to copy the "View" properties first followed by the "Field" properties and see if that works. I don't think I need every DBSETPROP() as defined by eView but then again, I haven't gotten it to work consistently otherwise...
