I know what you mean. Didn't MS go from VFP 3.0 to 5.0 to make all the pieces in VS have the same version.
If you really want to confuse someone, go to msdn.microsoft.com/scripting and look up the docs on Vbscript. There's a chart that shows the various products that use Vbscript and what version they ship with. Handy chart to know if you really, really need to confuse someone.
