Well, let me see if I can rephase to make it easier to understand.

What we have here is our basic Windows Script Host (or WSH). Of course don't forget that when implementing Microsoft® Windows® Script host, you can safely assume that a scripting engine will only call the IActiveScriptSite interface under certain circumstances that are beyound this discussions. However you are free to research this on your own.

There are 2 versions of WSH, version 1 & 2. Version 1 comes with Windows '98. It also comes with NT, but on the option pack, so be sure to install that too. Of course you can download it if you have Windows '95. Version 2 comes with W2K. Version 2 adds several new elements to WSH. For example, the AddWindowsPrinterConnection method. Once again, be sure not to confuse this with the AddPrinterConnection method that was already a part of version 1.

To explore the full power of WSH it is advised to use a scripting engine. For this you have a choice. 2 flavors so to speak. JScript & Vbscript. You can choose either or. Note, however, if you wish to remain compliant with the ECMAScript standard, you will have to use JScript. Jscript and Vbscript are currently on version 5.something.or.other.

So what do you think? Can I qualify to be a political speech writer?
