Hi,

I want to use the Max() function in a a SQL command? For example,

SELECT MAX(RECID) FROM MYTABLE

When I use this with SYS(3054,11) it says optimization "none" though I have an index on RECID. Is there any other quick way (using SQL) to get the maximum value in the table?

Thanks in advance.
