Perry, as an ex-DJ from the seventies, I still have a *LARGE* collection of music on vinyl -- including a two-foot long crate full of 12" singles. Still own two working SL-1500 MKII turntables as well.
I'm in the process of archiving them all on DAT and/or MiniDisc (I own a small recording studio) so that they don't wear any further.
Thankfully, though, I'm out of *that* racket now...
>I was talking to a DJ not too long ago who still like to play records instead of CDs occasionaly. He had a high school guy walk up to him at a party, point to the record player and ask what it was.

>He also had another HS student walk up during a Beatles song saying, "These guys are really good. Who are they".
