Is it in start up only or all the time?

I've got FPD 2.5 on my laptop, and it takes forever to load, but it's getting a dos session running at the same time. When My app is running it ocassionaly has memory farts where you can see it sit and wait.

I thought that I had run out of usabel disk space.
