The VFP Report Writer has some strange defaults. It will keep information about the printer the report was developed on unless you specifically remove it.

Open the report as a table (USE MyReport.frx) and go to record one. Empty out the TAG and TAG2 fields. Edit the EXPR field and remove everything that is printer specific. (Leave lines about orientation, etc.).

Then the printer will default to the user's printer.

I did not write this program and I am not sure why or where to look for the cause. There is one report that is suppose to print on legal size papaper, other are suppose to be printed on letter size paper. Clues on where to look would be appriciated,
