>I have created a view with a view parameter on the date column. When I browse the view, I enter the view parameter in the strictdate format i.e., {^2000-01-31}. However I always get an error: "Ambiguous date/datetime constant". Since I am entering the date in the proper format, why would it generate an error. In my options I have the strictdate set to 1. If I set the strictdate to 0 there is no error message and the browse comes up. Any advice in this case would be appreciated.

Is it possible that some other constant in the view or .DBC is not in strict date format? What happens if you assign a valid strictdate to a memory variable matching the name of the view parameter just before invoking the browse?
