>I interviewed for a position yesterday where I'd be publishing data from an existing back-end system to the web. I had a hard time selling them on using VFP with Web Connection to do the job. "Someone" told them they need a VB programmer. HAH!

Well, our local Police department, Sheriff's Office, Attorney General's Office, the FBI, Secret Service and several smaller municipal police agencies are hitting one that I built/maintain using WC and VFP. Of course, I can't give them access to the site, but it's real and kicks. It's primary use is to locate people by quering about 10 different data sources ranging from 50k records to over 1 million each. It's an excellent product, that beats VB in speed and when debugging, allows you to step through the code line by line, while running the VFP debugger. It doesn't get any better.
Also, if they want to email me about it, I'd be happy to discuss WC and why we aren't using VB.
