Check whether you have @Font in your windows FONT list, if so.. (e.g. @²Ó©úÅé ... one chinese fonts Vertically!)
Then use that fonts and set the field option (Press [ALT+ENTER] or Dblclick the Field) and check Print Extent to next line if needed
(Sorry, I am using chinese VFP, the wording may be extactly I said..)
Then, resize the field length into nearly 1 char to print...

Anyway, I don't think you can easily hack the frx and do print in different print setting, you may need to create more than one report to do..

p.s. may be only foreign language Window have @fonts, good wish to you!
The above method is extact asked from vfp.gtic.com.tw ( a Taiwan Chinese VFP chat board! ) and I haven't tried it!!
