Hi Ralf,

Should be okay in the INIT. Is your Form or Grid created from a class or from the VFP base classes? If they are created from a user defined class then it may be worth looking at them to see if they're doing anything with the recordsource. Also, are you using a builder on the grid? Sometimes a grid can get messed up if built with a builder then has the recordsource defined later.
