>>I interviewed for a position yesterday where I'd be publishing data from an existing back-end system to the web. I had a hard time selling them on using VFP with Web Connection to do the job. "Someone" told them they need a VB programmer. HAH!

>>Can anyone point me to some info that I can give them that justifies using VFP? Is there a list of web sites that have been developed using Web Connection?

>Although Web Connection is very powerfull you may not get any work if the client is stuck on a VB mindset. You may consider using VBA ASP with VFP as the back end. This way you can tell them that you will program in VBA.

You can also do that with Web Connection, by calling WC components from ASP's. Rick's comment is "You can do this if you really want to slow your application down", but at least you can say you're using ASP/VBScript. Very easy to demonstrate BOTH ways with WC and let the client see the difference.
