In addition to what Bret told you, the RGBComp() function in foxtools can do this.

* lncolor is the color to break down
STORE 0 TO lnred, lngreen, lnblue
= RGBComp(lncolor, @lnred, @lngreen, @lnblue)

This assumes that the library has already been loaded.
