As a novice VFP 6.0 coder (Win95), I am probably missing the obvious answer (and pardon any terminology errors here). I need to copy a field in the current record of a query cursor (form grid 1), to another field in the current record of a local table (form grid 2). Is there a more direct approach than using Scatter/Gather and Select? The routine will be activated by the user after selecting the appropriate records in each form grid. And no, cut and paste by the user will not suffice, as there are other issues involved not directly relevant to this matter.
