>>Just finished looking at the speech from Steve Ballmer. It's been announced that VB7 will have inheritance and a lot of other nice things for the internet.

>>I just hope to hear something from the VFP team about VFP 7 because I feel a little bit depressed right now.

I have the impression that for some things VFP is always a version behind VB. VB6 has intelisense but VFP 6 does'nt. VFP 7 will get intellisense.

VB7 will facilitate integration to the internet. Will VFP7 do it or will we have to wait to VFP8?

Internet is one of the most important thing right now in the computer world. As developers we have to move fast in order to master the new technologies.

I know that there are tools (West Wind) to help us work with the internet. Do those tools really compete with what was shown that will come in VB7?

Until I hear from new things coming in VFP7 I'll be a little bit depressed.

I still think that right now VFP is the best tool to do data centric applications but what I want out of this is to be reassured that VFP7 will still be a tool at the cutting edge of technology.

Do anybody know anything?
