Well I'm not so much interested in speed as in verifying everything will work. I can't remember exactly where I saw this, as I just read it then took it to heart. But I was studying the SQL syntax of, I believe creating an ADO recordset in, VB. The bottom line there on Join vs. Where was that an updateable recordset could only be created with the Join syntax.
I just stick with Join now, instead of trying to tweak out every second and then having to pull my hair out later cause somethings not exactly working right.
