Well gang, I hate to start this off by hedging, but I'm afraid I have to. What should (please note the "should")
happen is that the actual processing should (again) be done by the client. However, exceptions may exist
depending on the OS, 2 or 3 tier, etc. The only thing that the server should be doing is responding to the
requests.

ODBC should handle the execution of stored procedures, etc. in response to requests from applications written
in something other than VFP. After all, that's the stated purpose of it. Would I be surprised if it didn't? Nope, but
the only way to find out for sure is to try, and I intend to do so.

BTW, in regards to Problem, er, sorry, Power Builder's problem with FP 2.x tables and indexes, this might be an
instance where the real difficulty lies with how the application interacts with ODBC, rather than simple with ODBC
itself. That's part of the reason why ActiveX controls sometimes don't work as they should in VFP, but are just
fine in VB.

Of course, that's just my opinion.
