It can index memo fields as well as external documents that you might point to from a database. An example might be a referenced specification number where you want to quickly search for key words in those specs. The database could then give you a list of those specs where the key words existed and you'd use whatever mechanism you want to let the end user open up a specific spec from a picklist. ==Carl
