I have gotten a lot of mileage out of admitting that I don't know everything you need to know. In fact I feel like the more I learn the less I know. But that is what gets me out of bed in the morning--I like to learn.

This is what I think underlies the whole issue here. The pace in *increasing* not decreasing. We are more like doctors in the sense that we have to constantly be reading about our field, because it is changing daily.
Note I said our *field* not our language. VFP is a great tool, and I am glad to have learned it, but it isn't the only one, and there are a lot of things going on that it addresses it very well, others it can't address at all, and the same thing goes for VB or any other language.
Buckle up, we are at just getting to the top of the roller coaster hill...
