I have an application that uses a combination of remote views and SQL passthrough. This application is run against an Oracle 8i database. At the local site the application runs without problems, however at the remote sites I am receiving the error "Cannot resolve backlink" when a form is run. I have determined that the problem is related to a grid that I am manually setting all the columns in a 1 to many relation. This grid displays data from a parameterized remote view. As the user changes the row of the single item the grid is updated with all the entries related with that item. At this time the number of many items is less than 10 items. I have run VALIDATE DATABASE at the remote sites and there are no problems reported. We are testing the application at 2 remote sites with the same problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. When I ping each site the return speeds are between 30 and 70ms.
