Is there a way to create a data session independent of a form? The only way I've found is to create a pro-forma form, keep it invisible and tell it to have a private data session, then see what's its DataSessionId, then use it until the form is released, or equally do it with a report. I've got some ideas where some data processing might need a separate data session, but still can't find any decent way to create it programmatically. Is it maybe possible to create a dataenvironment object, and give it a DataSessionId... seems to me that VFP is too much form&report oriented, and other data processing is simply neglected.
