Are you kidding? IMO, the shift to OOP in VB7 is not that difficult because the only missing ingredients in today's version is inheritance. With that said, leaving VB because of OOP is not a big issue. What I want to see and clarify is the hierarchy of objects in VB7 as compare to VFP. Today's VB version is still arranged in straight line form as opposed to VFP's hierarchical tree one which has something to do with containership.
