>I got my huge wad of MSDN cds the other day with a nice little note saying that the first 20 CDs in the pack are on back order. Anybody else get that?

I've had that happen a couple of times - once when upgrading a Professional to a Universal sub at the same time MS shipped Win98, and they didn't have all of the Office disk set in stock and on-hand, and the other when I switched disk packs to drop the International #1 set and added the DDK. They got them out to me within a week or two, shipped on a priority basis. Your timing is just bad; you caught them out of stock with their current production capacity already committed to burning something else - in this case, I'd guess they've committed alot of their production capacity to Win2K disk sets...

>>>Yesterday, copy #1 of the live Win2K from my first MSDN arrived via AIrborne (I guess it pays to bitch and moan a lot at MSDN cust support. BTW, they've been absolutely super to deal with; if all the customer support at MS was as friendly, knowledgable, courteous and prompt about handling issues, I can't imagine anyone ever having a complaint about MS Tech Support!)
