I am with you. Let's wait and see. Mine was just based on what I have read in the documents they've provided. If it is a full blown OOP, the only strength of VFP over VB that I can think of for now is its data-centricity.

>>>I think that there is a possibility that many left the Fox world when it shifted to OOP because they did'nt grasp it and found a refuge in VB because it did'nt have it.
>>>
>>>Now that VB will get it they won't really have the choice to learn it. If they decide to leave VB where will they go? The programming languages are all going towards OOP.
>>
>>Are you kidding? IMO, the shift to OOP in VB7 is not that difficult because the only missing ingredients in today's version is inheritance. With that said, leaving VB because of OOP is not a big issue. What I want to see and clarify is the hierarchy of objects in VB7 as compare to VFP. Today's VB version is still arranged in straight line form as opposed to VFP's hierarchical tree one which has something to do with containership.
