It will look like a shared excel workbook but the only difference I would like web viewers to modify the workbook and not have to do a save as but instead what they modify and save will save right on the website. Does anyone know how I could go about doing this?

Is the site running ASP? If so ADO and a HTML table would work well, as long as we are not talking 1200 baud connect speeds or 1000s of records. Of course there are other options open depending on how much control you have over the server and the end user browser.
