In my stint as an enterprise consultant last year, it was frequently pointed out to me what a small piece of the big picture MS has. Virtually everything was Oracle developer tools, CORBA, DB2, Oracle 7.x. Some SQL Server....
>As it hopefully should. But right now, venture outside of the Microsoft box and thats the biggest issue in the Enterprise market not which Microsoft tool should be used. That was my point... I think sometimes many of use bask in the comfort of the almighty M$ shadow, and we forget that when you leave Windows apps behind and starting doing enterprise/distributed stuff, it's not a Microsoft-only world anymore... at least not yet =D)
