>Thanks for your reply, but it did not work. It turned out that GATHER did not keep changes to the parent record, so the child that should of dissapered was still selected in the requery. I added TABLEUPDATE() after the gather and it works just dine and fandy

I assumed that a tablupdate was issued in your save method, but I'm glad you found a solution.
