With regedit you can easily create a '.REG' file.
1.Open regedit.
2.Select HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.
3.Find the OCX reference you check for.
4.Highlite the folder (select it)
5.Select File/Export ...
6.Check the 'selected branch' radio button and give a name to the file
7.Click OK
All infos about the selected branch are saved to the file with the '.REG' extension.
This extention is associate with the registry base.
When you doubleclick on it or run it, the contained infos are added to the registry base.
I'm not sure but i think you can try to run it as post intallation exe.
Hope this help. ;0)
